Yippee-going to the National!
« on: July 20, 2013, 07:16:43 PM »
Looks like I'll make an appearance, albeit brief.   Plan to arrive Tuesday late afternoon and leave Thursday by lunch.  Should at least give me a chance to see the cars, and help vote in the next team of KFOCI leadership!

Won't be vending parts or literature but if anyone wants me to bring them anything in "Brand-X", let me know.

See some of you in Shipshewanna.

I'm coming with what may be the most unique factory accessory ever offered.  It's P/N 200015, identified as the Trim Panel Cover Set for the 1947-48 Kaiser or Frazer owner who thinks they have all the options offered by Kaiser-Frazer for their car.  Complete in the original packaging (or what is left of same) with all hardware and installation instructions/diagrams.   $75.00 or best offer.

Barbara and I will arrive Tuesday and be leaving right after the Business Meeting on Wednesday.

I am trailering a 1936 De Soto Airflow to a buyer in Memphis and will then head up to Shipshewana and am really looking forward to the meet and seeing everyone.  I am leaving Los Angeles early tomorrow morning so that I can get thru the desert before noon.  A long drive but it will be fun.  I'll see you all soon!  Gordie

Jack,  I would like to buy your trim set and can pick it up at the meet.  That set is listed in the Accessory Price List but it is not shown in the 1948 accessory folder. Was there a Parts and accessory letter  for them?  Thanks,  Gordie

Only one week left and I still have a rear brake locked up.  I may be down to the last minute getting car ready.

There is only a smidgeon (less than a tiny bit) of hope that I will be in Shipshewanna this year. That smidgeon is more than I had last week. Finger's are crossed.

Gordie..take a look at it and if you want it, SOLD.  I don't have the Dealer P&A Bulletin on this but I DO have Distributor P&A Bulletin #36 (dated May 21, 1947) that lists the 200015 and the 200048 Deluxe Seat Cover Set (the trim panel cover set with regular seat covers) with list and quantity wholesale pricing.  I can run off a copy of that for you.

Barbara and I found we had a few BUILT TO BETTER THE BEST Kaiser-Frazer books; we'll bring them along at a sell price of $45.00 each.  No tax, no shipping and I'll autograph them for the buyers.
