This may be helpful . If you have to PUSH your parking brake back to the dash position the SPRING under the car is not the proper tension or is missing. THE RESULT WILL BE A COMPRESSED ( bunched ) CABLE MAKING FOR AN INOPERABLE PARKING BRAKE and we do not make them anymore. Can they be fixed? yes with a new internal cable and the proper equipment.
