Unlike the other sign I posted, this one probably is worth $3000, and at this point that is exactly what Ebay bidders have bid on it. It's pick up only though. Anyone with deep pockets living in Washington state? Here's your chance:

That sign appears to be in its original location and still working.  It would be great to have but it would be a real project just to cut it loose and save the neon and transport it.  Fortunately several have been saved and restored.  Those are not the rarest K-F collectible put probably the most valuable and they sure are pretty.

This one was offered to me, with pole, for $6000.  As I am but a poor lad, I was not able to add it to my collection of KF stuff.  It was only about six miles from me.

I know where there's another that worked when removed from the building. It's in western Minnesota and another club member and I are trying to make time to bring it back east. The fellow had at least three KF signs, this one, the horizontal version, and a large round one. I don't think they'll all fit in my Traveler...

I seem to remember Fred Walker had one mounted outside his building in Monument, CO. Cannot remember if it lit up or not. Was there after the Ouray convention or maybe it was later that year when I was visiting Duane Hayes. I think Duane also had one - stored in it's original crate inside an old school bus.
