What I usually do is remove the knob by Joe's stated method. Then reach up behind the dash and turn the whole switch to try to loosen the bezel, which can be difficult to grip or loosen. Try holding the bezel with your fingers while turning the whole switch assembly from behind. That usually works. Of course you can't rotate the switch assembly a full 360 degrees! The idea is get it loose, if it turns at all it is loose. Then you can unscrew the bezel with your fingers.
