Whittier California weekly Cruise Night

Our local 50's Diner, Ruby's, has a cruise night every Friday night year round.  Starts at 5:30, cars start arriving about 2:30.  my friends and I decided to take our cars.  I arrived early at 2:00 to get some spaces blocked off.  I took the '52 Henry J and a friend offered to run me home to get the 51 Kaiser.  I ended up having both cars at the show.  Over 300 cars, but I was the only two KF Products.  My 8 year old was very proud to answer questions.  When people questioned who owned both of them, I pointed to my 8'year old and said the Henry J is his.
 Fun time tonight.  A friend even came to the show with another friend, and I let him drive the Henry J home.  He was so excited, he now wants to find a old car too after driving the Henry J.
Get those cars out and show them off!

Thanks for posting this! It's great to see your cars at the show and to know your son has an interest in them. Tell him the club president thanks him for having his Henry J there!

A fine looking pair they are.  So far this year, every cruise night I was to attend rained out except last weekends and there were so many cars there (everyone wanting to get out for that first one) that I had nowhere to park. I did have the lone KF product as always.

I may be wrong, but I believe it rained back when these cars were new, that's why they have wipers on them.   Lol
