Socal Region Christmas Party
« on: November 30, 2014, 05:38:03 PM »
Sunday 12/7/14 is the big region Christmas Party in my garage.  Suppose to be 70 degrees next Sunday.  If you have nothing to do, fly out and join us for a fun day.  Our very own Vice President Gordy is going to bring his vast collection of K-F memorabilla for all of us to talk about.

Say hello to everyone for me, wish Old Toby and I could make it, just like the old days. Can you believe this will be the 25th SoCal Xmas party that I've missed? I left SoCal 25 years ago.

I remember the last party you came to too.  It was at the Golden Sails in Long Beach.  Remember it?  You got up in front of everyone and promised that  you will be back every year for the Christmas Party and for the Hoffman Hurrah.  Then you vanished..........Never seen in socal ever again.........  :)

Empty promises. To this day I remain sad that I've never returned to California since I left in 1990.

At least you stay in touch :) I am from the Hudson Valley of New York....but been here in the UP of Michigan for over 20 years. It becomes hard to find your way back as much as you might like to. If you have ever been here, this is one of those places that you can't get there from here ! But Atlanta or Socal is looking pretty good if this winter keeps up !

We had a very beautiful day at my house for the Socal Region Christmas Party.  I will write it up for the bulletin.  It was in the low 70's, partly cloudy.  We ended up having 15 Cars, 1 56 Wizard Motor bike, and my 1958 Sailboat was out to make room in the garage.   We had 11 Kaiser Products.

We had my 51 Kaiser Deluxe 4 dr., a 51 Kaiser Deluxe 2 Door, a 51 Kaiser Traveler, 1 Darrin, 2 51 HJ's (One was former Dragster)  my 52 HJ, Early 47 Kaiser, 52 Kaiser and a 49 Kaiser.

We also had 56 Ford Truck, 58 Edsel Pacer, and 2 Corvairs.  I also had my 1958 Lido 14 Sailboat out to make room in the garage.

We had a wonderful visit with Mable Hogle, Allen Hogles widow.

Everyone had a great time socializing, and eating.  After a catered lunch, we all enjoyed looking over the vast collection of K-F Items that our Club VP Gordy brought to share.  He has quite a collection.

Oh, I'm soooooo sad that there were no Frazers there.  If I ever get my 47 Manhattan running maybe I'll bring it next year.
