Hi Everyone,  Help me find a home for this great car. Price is very negotiable if going to a good home :)  Yes it has rust, and the interior needs help.  Engine is original and runs very nice.

It has a grill emblem, factory spotlight and decent tail light lenses, all hard to find items for a '51 Frazer.  I hope someone grabs it.

Why couldn't i have a soft spot for stray dogs, cats, or matchbox cars.  Not a soft spot in my head for things worth preserving that like to rust and eat gasoline ( and $$$ ).  51 Fazer styling has always made my heart beat faster.  And just 2 hours from home.... :-\

Fortunately or not most of us have those feelings for old cars.  At that price whatever money spent on it should make a really unusual car and you would not be buried in it price wise.  Vagabonds are pretty handy to have in our inventory.

:) Gordie, you are right.  Packard, then Studebaker, Rambler, Hudson, now KF!  Reason my friends tagged me FleetMaster.  The cars all build up the iron in my blood and enrich the mind- or at least makes the dreams i can share more intersting.   And the $ is right.   I just brought what was suppossed to be the last car home Saturday, now i have an eye on the Vagabond but i also have a couple people in mind that are potentail buyers so i will pass details along.

I once had forty old cars but had a garage that would hold fifty.  I sold that nice garage and sold about half of the cars and am really scrambling to find storage space.  It seems that we never have enough space for all of our cars and collections.  Don't bring the last one home!  Get a bigger garage!

This particular car doesn't have the wood slats in the rear, so is it a Traveler or a Vagabond. And which one is more rare ? Are 51 Travelers and Vagabonds both milestone cars ?

This car does have wood slats.. or at least did.  I have bits of the original as well as some wood to make new ones.  I also have the Vagabond scripts for the sides and the rear hatch, just not on the car at this time.  I also have another rear bumper in somewhat better condition.

What I see is a car that can be driven as-is while one ponders a decision to restore it. The 51 Frazer Vagabond is a one year only car so it is rare in that respect. As Gordie mentioned, if we only had space for a few more cars!

That grill does not look bad for a driver.  What you need is correct hubcaps and beauty rims, a hood ornament and bumper guards for the rear but maybe that better bumper has the bumper guards on it. I know where there is a NOS hood ornament available.   Who is going to get that nice car?

I noticed the comment about Milestone Cars.  There is no longer such a thing as far as I know of.  It is my understanding that due to lack of membership, the Milestone Car Society dissolved some years ago.

The KFOCI could be following down a similar path to the MCS unless our membership gets their cars out at local and area old car events and talks to those who stop by asking about the cars that many have never even seen pictures of before.

All '51 Frazer hatchback/utility cars were Vagabonds. No '51 Frazer Travelers.
