Converting to 12V
« on: October 17, 2009, 09:17:34 AM »
Does anyone have a definitive instruction sheet on how to convert my Frazer (or any Kaiser-Frazer) from 6V positive ground to a 12V negative ground, alternator system, while still using my 6V dash guages?
Thanks,
John

Unless, of course, you've already read it.

I convert my 6V cars to 8V. All you have to do is put in an 8V battery and tweak the V. reg. to 9.2V
Starts better and the lights are actually useful. I carry a 12V battery pack for GPS and cell phone.
