This was one of the featured items in a automobilia auction in MN last weekend.  This sign brought over $5,000 and a couple of nice used ones brought big prices also.  There were several banners and a variety of beautiful K-F, Henry J  and Darrin neon signs that went cheap as the auction would not ship them and the buyers had to remove them from the building themselves.  Someone got some great buys but most of the items brought big prices.  I was able to get some dealer ash trays and a variety of Kaiser and Willys match books to add to my collection.

Jake announced the auction a couple of weeks ago!  That is how I found out about it.

I, too, have an NOS KF dealership sign. I purchased it sight unseen at an auction in Maine in 1998 or thereabouts. Mine is a 2pc version without the "genuine parts and" added to the middle section. I may take an image of it to post here.

This image is a few years old. The sign is unchanged. Never been outside.

Thanks, they don't get any better than that!  The two piece sign is not seen often.

Mine is the other type K-F sign.  Normally you find the ones with "Approved Service".  My sign was made in 1948 and says "Factory Approved Parts & Service" in the center section.  As far as I can gather, this version was made from late 1947 through 1948 & may have been planned to be offered if K-F's planned Courtesy Service program got off the ground in a 30 inch size.  Current picture of the worst side attached.  Has collar but the rest was cut before I got it back around 1988.

That is a scarce one also.  Mine is the approved service sign and I got it on eBay many years ago and picked it up in Johnstown, PA on my way to Hershey.  I had to sleep with it for a couple of nights!  It does still have the brackets and ring around the diameter.
