Do you have any pictures?  There were no 1951 Virginian models. The left over 1951 Kaisers were reserialed as 1952 Virginians and that may be what you have but we would need to know for sure.  The Virginian was originally a hard top produced in 1949 and 1950. Then, as mentioned, left over '51s were retagged and retitled as 1952 Virginians and were available as 2 door, 4 door and hatchback models - same as the '51.

it is listed as a 1951 kaiser deluxe 4dr sedan on the kaiser frazer registry site and the title plus badges state are virginian. and I do not see anything to say it was reserialed as a 52.

she has the split windshield as well. in fact if you search for a 51 virginian 75% of the photos are of her.

Is this the car that sold in the recent Raleigh, NC auto auction?  If so I know the car well and have supplied several parts which are installed including the black hood ornament plastic.

PS, it's a beautiful car and has had a lot of work done on it.  Congrats on the purchase!

It is indeed a beautiful car.  I think in the listing it was verified that someone added the 'Virginian' scripts to it so it is a '51 but a deluxe model.  We once had a '51 Henry J that someone put a  continental kit on, then added 'Vagabond' scripts to it but, like the Virginians, all Henry J Vagabonds are '52s by factory definition / designation.
We also sold a modified '51 Frazer 4 door sedan which the new state titled as a '51 Frazer Manhattan, all of which were hard tops or convertibles by factory definition so there's some exceptions out there now.
I have Edgar Kaiser's Henry J which is tagged and titled as a '51 but it's clearly a '53 so it can get confusing!

But getting back to your original inquiry, the part you need is the same for '51 - '55 Kaiser and I believe the same for the Henry J.
Forum user pnw_oldmags  has most of the KF Parts manuals online so you can look and verify there.

I'll have a look at my spare parts too - I may have one.

The horn contact plate is KF part number 207774. It is not the same part number as the one used for Henry J so unfortunately, I don't have one. Hopefully someone on here can help you.

Yes, that's the car my friends in VA sold this past December in the Raleigh, NC Auction.  They owned it for several years after having purchased from the Astor collection in CA.  It should run like a top!

Is the car in FL then?
