The 1951 K-F Shop Manual says if the car has an oval cover for the ring gear it is a Dana 41. If it is hexagonal, it is a Dana 44. The 23rd Edition of the Hollander Manual says earlier models used the Model 41 although there are 2 different widths. (Axle was narrowed for more tire clearance.) All the big Kaiser rear ends after 1951 were Dana 44s.
