Aero transmission - what is stock?
« on: February 01, 2017, 02:44:01 PM »
I haven't been able to find the info anywhere yet.  What manual transmission did the Aeros come with?  Is it a T90, the same as the Jeeps of that era?

Thanks.

As I recall my 55 has a T86 with R10 overdrive.
- 55 Willys Bermuda - 57 Ford E-CODE Sunliner - 63 Riveria - 97 Chev K10 - 99 Ford Lightening - 04 jag VDP - 1998 Jag XK8. 07 Lincoln - 08 Taurus X. All old like me.

If your Aero has the 161 engine the standard transmission will be a T96 unit, the same as was used in the Henry J.

If your Aero has the 226 engine, then the standard transmission will be the T86 unit.
