inexpensive Kaiser parts
« on: August 10, 2017, 07:25:49 AM »
Reading through some bulletins from last year I came across an ad where a member was trying to sell off a lot of parts.  I called and a lady answered telling me her father had passed away and she had a "lot of" K-F and Studebaker parts that she wanted to get rid of and would sell the whole works for $300.  I would have liked nothing better than to oblige her, but with the parts in Georgia and me only a short time in Montana it just wasn't practical.  I tried to buy a headlight ring and hub caps, but her caps all had the lettering on them and were too small for my '48 Kaiser Special.  Now today she sent me this mail.

I sold  a little over 1/2 the stuff today.I would take a $ 100.for the
rest, but i know you are to far away.I still have some bumpers, grille
pieces, vent windows, handles, door handles, some new chrome to go down
the whole side of a kaiser manhattan i believe. Some radios& other
miscelanous items.

Somebody on the east coast, please, rescue this.  She is threatening to haul it to the dump.  If you get the stuff, I'd like to buy a head light rim and a couple door handles if they are the right ones for a 48.
