Needed parts for our cars
« on: October 22, 2020, 12:47:28 PM »
Why is it that every part imaginable is made for the Darrin's and we desperately need body emblems, rubber window moldings, Allstate emblems and hub caps as well as good rebuilt carburetters and fuel pumps for Kaisers and Frazer's.  We seem to be overlooking  many of our members needs!

If a HenryJ or  Allstate was worth 6 figures, there would probably be parts available for them also.
But I agree with you. It would be nice if more aftermarket was out there.

Did you ask Adam Harder at the Manufacturing Fund about what you need, or have you asked Larry Barker, Chris Lucht or other KFOCI members who sell parts?  What do you need and where have you looked so far?  Also, (I am assuming you are a member) what about placing a WANTED AD in the KFOCI Monthly Newsletter.  There are other resources that are available to club members within the organization.

If you are not a member of the KFOCI, the situation you may be having is an excellecent reason for joining.  You can join on line at the club's website.

It seems to me producing parts for a car with such limited production and extremely few left like the Darrin instead of the more highly produced cars that most of us have is backwards. Wouldn’t there be more money to make producing parts for the more common cars? Am I missing something?
