The 1948 Jeepster scale models
« on: November 17, 2020, 07:49:45 PM »
Mattel has re-issued the 1948 Jeepster that originally appeared ss the last offering in Matchbox's JEEP vehicle series.  As the illustration shows, the new version is Red rather than the yellow in the JEEP series packaging.  Also, the red one does NOT have chrome bumpers front and rear along with underside (red one is just the gray plastic on these items).  Dollar Tree, Target, Walmart have them.  If you are in the pacific northwest area you can also find them on the peg boards and tubs at Fred Meyer Superstores in the Toy Department at locations in Washington State and Oregon.

Thanks, that is the early style Jeepster and they look great.  A nice find and thanks for sharing the good information.
