Aero Rear Bumper Dimensions
« on: February 12, 2021, 10:02:45 AM »
Does anyone have access to their Aero to measure the height and inside width of the rear bumper. I am trying to determine if a 50s Chevrolet rear bumper fits. Or any other known substitutes out there. Thanks for the help!

I can bundle up & check mine later today.
Are you wanting something else for a different look or just striking out on finding a good original?

no need to bundle.  i got dimensions on the face book page. I want to avoid rechroming the rear bumper on my Continental kit. Need to decide whether the 50ish Chevy car or truck rear would do the trick, about a third the cost of rechroming mine.

I saw that post & passed on an arctic trek out to the shop.
Mine came in at $800 each at Blackburn Wheel. If yours are straight & not pitted The Chrome Shop at Rock Island might be cheaper, price range posted on their website. I had other parts chromed there, top quality.
