You have a 1949 Frazer Manhattan. Production of 1949 models amounted to roughly 9200 units.

Joe Frazer (a non-member of the KFOCI these days) is working off c.1975 estimates based on the highest known serial numbers of cars reported to the Club Registry.  I work off the factory's monthly production counts.

There were 2 Frazer Manhattan types in the 1949-60 combined model year run.  A total of 9,669 Frazer Manhattan Sedans and 82 Frazer Manhattan Convertibles were built, all of them 4-door versions.  The final Manhattan produced came off the line in January 1950, the only actual month of production during the 1950 model year and was the only one built that month.  During the week of November 3,1949 all new, untitled, unsold and undriven 1949 model year Kaisers and Frazers in dealer, distributor, or factory storage lots received 1950 model year serial numbers to keep them "fresh".  Kaisers and Frazers with K49/F49 prefix serial numbers should be 1949 model year cars sold retail prior to November 3, 1949 by dealers.  Cars sold after that point had the 1950 door frame serial number tags but may have had the 1949 firewall body code number tags still on them.

1949 Frazer Manhattan production for retail sale started with 580 units in October 1949 with 4-door sedans.  Convertibles were built during the months of January-September 1949 with mostly single digit (there were some double digit months) totals for each month.
