If you refer to the Parts List or the Shop Manual, HJs (4 or 6) came with unpressurized caps and 4 PSI caps, The thermostats are 151 and 170 degrees. The difference is in the type of coolant used. If you used water or alcohol antifreeze, then you used an unpressurized cap and a 151 thermostat. If you used ethylene glycol, then you used the 4 PSI cap and the 170 degree thermostat. If your radiator is in good shape, you should be able to run a 7 PSI cap.

A NAPA BK 7031412  is a good replacement.  I have one on each of my Js.  If you're going for authenticity and having the car judged, the correct type makes a difference so if you go with this NAPA unit, you will get a point deduction.  If you just want a cap to function and do its job, this is the one.
You can see a photo if you go to www.napaonline.com  and search for BK 7031412

I have a non-descript, non-pressure cap that I'll put on the car if I ever have it judged but if I'm just driving around and enjoying the car, I keep the NAPA unit on it.
