Club Store
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:06:29 PM »
Why isn't there a listing for the club store? Is it a big secret? I know that in the newsletter every other month is a list of parts, but I can't find my newsletter. I need a trunk handle gasket for my 54 Manhattan. Can anyone help?

Rudy Phillips lists the trunk handle gasket, his part number 213221 at $20.00.  Call him at 1 760 789 3608

Thank you for the help, I will call Rudy.  But isn't there a site for the club store?

If you go to the club website there is a listing for the club store but it does not seem to be activated at this time. Work on the website is all voluntary as are all of the club jobs so sometimes not everything is 100 percent all of the time but the club volunteers do a wonderful job and keep our club humming!

Please explain what you mean by "club store".  We have a number of members who sell parts (and their lists change almost constantly) as well as a manufacturing fund.  The club also has a policy in its by-laws about not being able to endorse or recommend specific individuals or companies for things, but it can advise if a company is making something.

The form for the Manufacturing Fund that appears in the Dec Bulletin has the email address:

  the54darrinkid@hotmail.com

and as far as I know this has been the address as long as Adam Harder has been the Manager.
