Darrin gas cap

I bought the cd that a member was selling at the Salem meet.  There were hundreds of pictures of K-F products including 101 Darrin items and I noticed that many of the Darrin's had body colored gas caps while some of them were chrome.  Do you guys know which is correct or did they come both ways?
