I do not know how many cars were involved between 4 and 6 cylinder automobiles, but know that a number of the initial production 4 cylinder models were painted Aloha Green.  Carl Spencer, head of the Color and Trim section of the Styling Department realized that this color stood out.  If there were only a handful of the cars driven around a city, people would more likely notice them and believe they were seing more cars than actually existed (variation on the old Rommel Afrika Corps trick driving the same 6 tanks around an African city...British agents reported hundreds of tanks passing by their location).

The HJ I had (that ended up having to be sold down in KY) was also aloah green and was the 86th 4 cylinder built.

Wish I could get the tags back, but what the hey, I'll probably never have one again.

If you look at the dash on those Sunstar cars, it is clear they used Steve Carrie's mariner gray '51 as the pattern. His car has those extra controls on the passenger side of the dash and match exactly what the Sunstar car has.
You can kind of see them in this photo on this page -

if you look just above the passenger side spoke of the steering wheel

I too was a bit dissappointed in the first issue being Indian Ceramic in color as that color was not used on the Henry J. It didn't prevent me for buying one and it's still a great model just the same. I think it's one of the best miniature KF models issued.

When I bought my Henry - they had just sold another one - it was painted two tone - silver/indian ceramic!

Not sure which color was the oringal color from the factory!
