Looking for a medalion for the grille on a 51 Frazer.  Any help?  Also, are there any NOS chrome  parts left?  Need a radio face plate and deck lid handle and body.  Hope is eternal.  Val

The club made those up recently and I do not know if they are still available.  You might look at the manufacturing fund ad at the end of this months Bulletin.

You are correct as there is very little activity regarding the Frazers.  I have a Graham Paige Frazer, a '48 Standard and two '48 Manhattan's and I recently sold a '51 sedan.  The Frazer's were a little more deluxe than the Kaiser's but the same mechanically.  Tell us about your Frazer and lets get this topic rolling!

We need at least one of those '51 Frazer grille medallions but I believe we checked with Rudy as well as the manufacturing fund, and there apparently are none known to be available.

Ok, now that we have a number of views and a few posts, I'm looking for suggestions to consider relative to my '51 Frazer sedan with stick shift.  There exists a problem such that often I have to double shift into second.  What/where do I need to adjust?  But the biggest problem that has persisted is that to get the car to go forward in first or reverse, I really have to get on the accelerator pedal or the car will die on me.  Extremely persistent until the car is warmed up but even then it can be very annoying.  New fuel pump, new fuel lines 100% the distance, new carburetor , added an electric fuel pump, filter stays clear and has fuel in it. Plugs fouling and too cold a plug I have eliminated from possibilites. I have read/heard on some cars that a spacer or extra gaskets on the fuel pump might be used to lower the fuel pressure, but don't think that is the case here.  I think it's something to do with the shifting/clutch?  The car just will not go w/o reving up the engine well beyond what is normal for a car.

Is your throttle linkage working without binding?  If you grind getting into gears you my need a new clutch or your transmission syncromesh may be giving out.  Perhaps if you fix one of the problems the other may fix itself.  I had to put a fuel regulator on my fuel system when I installed the electric fuel pump as excess fuel pressure caused my carb float to stick and it flooded big time.  Dangerous!

I was going to suggest adjusting the automatic choke mechanism. If it is OK after warm up, it may be that the auto-choke needs to be adusted so it runs properly when cold.

On the shifting into second, there is no grinding of gears, it just will not engage. I pull it back to neutral and try again and it usually works.  It's like something is binding, keeping it from going into gear. Have adjusted the rods/linkages and they look identical to my hardtop and all that at least in the garage with the engine off all seems to be working ok.  Well, it IS better when warmed up relative to not wanting to shut down, but still not enjoyable to drive.  We have adjusted the choke and it seems to be functioning and opening the choke plate normally; it doesn't take too long to fully open. What about that syncromesh...how can I check that?  We pulled the carburetor apart (don't like to do that) and checked the float setting and it was to spec.

I've never seen that one. Wonder if or how well it works?
