There are now 93 members on the email list + 34 who receive both email & print versions. Try a "sample" today!

As our local Atlantic Canada Studebaker Club has found out (56 members--highest total EVER!) email versions = full colour photos, scalable sizes for reading, and BIG savings for the Club coffers

What is the logic that if you receive the email one, why request the mail version?
That defeats the main purpose of the email---saving money.

One reason would be to determine if that is what you really want to do, and as well, have a paper copy to give away to a prospective member (who will never own a computer) as I did yesterday!

@ Terry: it's not about saving $$ for them ... they get email for the "extras" + a jump-start on the ads, and the paper version to keep. Many have every Bulletin since they joined & just can't let go ...

Very true ... but  more than 1 has told me they don't want to "waste" their paper & ink printing the email version.

I previously submitted a suggestion that members who get email only get a discount on their annual membership, but it was shot down ~ without even being presented to the Board or the General Membership. Perhaps as time goes by & finances run thin (dwindling membership) it will be reconsidered.

For every 12 page Bulletin, the club save saves $1.02 per month for every US email ($12.24 per year), $1.46 for every Canadian email ($17.52 per year) and $2.20 for evey other foreign email ($26.40).  More for larger issues.  Emailing the SEPT 2011 issue saved the club $90.54 in printing & postage costs ... that comes to $1086.48 per year. And as more join the email list, the savings will grow.

Except for the roster & calendar, the Quarterly could also be sent by email to save even more $$ on printing & postage.
