Is Fred Walker (the icon of Kaiser Frazers) of Monument Colorado still with us and in Monument?
I may be only 100 miles from Monument in July 2014 and I would welcome the opportunity to meet him.

Fred passed several years ago. Last attended the Salem Oregon meet. Erma Walker survives him and is making an effort to sell the parts most are NOS They had moved from Monument to Peyton Co. 13115 Log Road zip 80831 Phone # 719-749-2668 she would like a call from you .

Miles, there was some confusion about that on here the other night - It was verified that Erma is still very much with us so that thread was removed.

Yup, she is alive and well, I live less than 10 miles from her, she's invited me over when the weather warms up. Soon!!!

Good to hear you are going to see her, she can use some friendly faces. if you could , look over what she has in the buildings that someone might help her dispose of that are too big or too heavy for her 87 # body to handle. the parts I have listed in the parts interchange were only 10/15 # per her request. the price list she is working with is from Freds 1991 inventory.

Hopefully I will get to see her in the next week or so, the weather is improving, and we got some nice weeks ahead. She told me to come over when that happens. So will let you know, and will offer to help her advertise what she has on this forum, once I know what she wants to do....Till then, hang in there......

Less than 200 people (as far as I know) see the Forum.  Around 20% or more of our club members do NOT have a computer or do not use their computer for internet access.  What about advertising in the bulletin?  You make no mention of that.

Ladies & Gentlemen My bad.

I talked with Erma 4 Months ago. She said was doing OK. I was with a Friends on a Quick Vacation Trip. I was going to go see Her solo the Day before we left Colorado Springs area but it started to Storm.

I told Her will get back with Club Members ways to help Her sell Parts & Vehicles .

Yes, Our News letter would be a great place. I also think screen to keep only K F O C Members  or only serious Folk calling. Open for suggestions.

Lots of work but, create a working inventory list with reference numbers to parts or lots for sale.  Estbalish an email account just for receiving parts inquiries.  Have a couple TRUSTED people manage email traffic and arrange sales from the list.  Take part requests to build the next list of available parts.  Consider having a similar cell phone with pay as you go minutes dedicated to just the sales.  Work with the owner to cover the basic expenses for the phone and email if any.  Not sure it will work but on paper sounds nice.

Steve, Erma had or has many parts that are too bulky or heavy for her to handle. One of the items Fred had told me about was NOS 52-55 trunk lids up in a loft. can this be verified? i would be willing to drive from Corning to Colorado 1000 miles to get one for my Dragon, or pay someone to get it down from the loft , I have a source to get the proper size box for transport.
