1948 Kaiser upholstery
« on: November 01, 2009, 12:37:16 PM »
Does anyone know the approximate number of yards of material required for the front and rear seats of a 1948 Kaiser Custom? Thanks!

I don't know, but that's cool you have a custom , they are fairly rare I believe.  I can't remember if all customs came with leather--did yours?  Pictures would be appreciated.

Leather upholstery was an option in 1948 on the Kaiser Custom and Frazer Manhattan models.  The Confidential Bulletin on this provided dealers with wholesale pricing only...dealers were free to set their own retail price for leather trim.
