Stainless exhaust system

I've been trading emails with Waldrons Exhaust about an Aero system. They think they have the front pipe but need a tailpipe for a pattern. I have one NOS and a couple NOS mufflers, but before I start shipping parts around, anyone already sourced a stainless Aero 161 F-head exhaust system anywhere?

Waldron's now has T409 stainless, or aluminized steel exhaust systems for the Aero with 161 engine.

Stainless is $410, Aluminized steel is $270, clamps, hangers & shipping extra. Mufflers can be made stainless or aluminized steel with OEM baffles, one baffle or none.

I presume you mean this exhaust set up is for the 161 F-Head as you inquired about in the original post.  I imagine the 161 L-Head headers are totally different.  Thanks for doing all the legwork, I am just getting started on my '52 Wing.

I think the exhaust part of the engine block and exhaust manifold are the same on the F-head as the L-head 161 it's derived from.

yep--if you cut the intake part off of a 161 L-head you get a 161 F-head exhaust sortofkinda
