I have two axles removed from a 1951 overdrive HJ rear end.  I'd like $50.00 for the pair plus shipping.  I'm located 150 miles south of Chicago and 120 miles west of Indianapolis, to give you some idea of the shipping cost you might check with the post office  my zip  code is 61841.           please advise     Leximom at Kfguy53@yahpp.com

Thought some of you would like to view a few pictures of my Man Cave dedicated to Kaiser-Frazer-Henry J and Darrin.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

It is my understanding that if an item is added to a vehicle and it makes it SAFER ,there will be NO point deduction.......WHO cares about points if it makes both you and passengers safer.

Kaiser Forum / Re: Gas in through carburetor
« on: March 23, 2013, 10:55:58 AM »
Spark plug issue  -  suggest you use the Autolite A5 or the Champion J8 sparkplugs.  Do not use the J8C, the C stands for copper.  This plug is designed for SHORT RUN motors, such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, any short run engine with a 14mm plug requirement.  Our KF manuals over the years, list the plugs I've recommended.  As stated earlier, be very careful pouring the gasoline down through the carburetor and always have a fire ext. close by.  Hope this helps.

To all those that read the Forum:  I'd like to thank Dave Hollen for defending my good name and reputation.

There is a lot of us out there who really enjoy our cars and want to make them as individual and reflect our own personalities as we can.  Believe me there is a lot more to owning and enjoying a vehicle than "always" worring about "points and judging".  I am on the same page as those who would like to see the judging stopped.  Let us enjoy our cars instead of arguing over "mine is better than yours".

I graduated from high school in 1950 and was fortunate enough to own my own 1948 Frazer Manhattan.  I just wanted to revisit my younger days with the '49 Kaiser, so I restored it to the same specifications, two-tone color, skirts, visor, fog lights, etc, as my Frazer did some 61 years ago.  I'm not sorry if I offened some of the K/F purists out there, but I figured it was my car and I could do what ever I wanted to do and I did.  Wasn't trying to fool anyone.

Thanks once again to my good friend Dave Holllen.  Manhattan Man
