switching to alternator ?

Guys im switching my car to 12 volt its no show car i just want it as a driver....id like to put a chevy 350 alternator on but id like to see if anyones done this and how they made their brackets.....thanks guys and any wireing tips would be appreciated....

I still couldnt see any thing but i have mine done now and ive took a bunch of pics....it wasnt as bad as i thought but i will post pics this evening...... ;)
