Curiosity
« on: September 12, 2010, 10:36:15 AM »
In the mid to later 70's.. when Dad was going to Palmer College in Davenport IA, I developed a friendship with a kid my age, I was 6 or 7, he was a year older,.. anyway, his Dad had 100 +- Kaisers.. Couple boat tail Rivs laying around, and a few misc. items, but Kaiser's were definitely his drug of choice.

Want to say it was a greek sounding last name, Kirkendahl.. Kuykendahl.. something..

Anybody know of this place/these people? My buddies first name was Daniel..

You got it right.  Dan worked at the Bear Wheel Alignment plant if I remember correctly.  He had Graham-Paige Frazer #474 which I believe was later sold to Dale Hammon.

That lady was Dan's wife.  He passed away a number of years ago.

They used to live along a major highway (don't remember the number) that was rapidly moving into a heavy commercial/commerce area with malls and office buildings, etc.
