I have an idea for another good book,  BUILT TO BETTER THE BEST, from  MT Publishing off their website.  It's the history of Kaiser-Frazer Corporation some of its related operations and so on.

A quick update. As many of you know, the spring Midwest meet will be held in conjunction with the Midwest Willys Reunion in Effingham, IL. The dates have been established - May 19 thru 21, 2016 and the host hotel will be the Holiday Inn. I'm meeting with the Willys folks after the first of the year to work thru the registration process, as well as banquet, t-shirt, and other details. Look for more information here and in the bulletin.

Update #2 - To gauge interest in the spring Midwest meet, an email was sent those in the Midwest Division with an email address on file. If you didn't get one from me, it's either because we don't have a valid email address on file or you aren't a member in the division. So, if you're one of those and you think you may be attending the meet in May, please email me at president@kfclub.com. This is not a commitment on your part to attend, it's just so I can give our partner organization, the Midwest Willys Reunion group, a rough idea as to the number of KF members attending. A formal announcement of the meet will be in the February news bulletin.

This will be a great opportunity to meet new friends, possibly gather some new members, and see some nicely restored Willys products. The Reunion folks are as passionate about their vehicles as we are with ours so this is your chance to meet some great people and enjoy a great weekend.

Happy 2016 to all!

The President of course, is aware that, for various reasons many members of the Midwest Division do not utilize e-mail or chose not to provide their email address to the club.  As a result, the mailing he speaks of was limited in terms of percentage of Midwest Division members.

Just a reminder that the Sunshine Region meet is this coming weekend. If you've not registered, you're still welcome to visit with us at the Carlisle Events car show and swap meet in Lakeland. Check your bulletin for more information

See you there!
