Wow, I like that 1948 Custom!  Does it have leather upholtstery?  We used to have a Linden green 1948 Custom and it looked exactly like that except it had/has an after market hood ornament on it. At the time we owned it, it was the only known Custom to exist that had factory leather upholstery.  Even the windlace, kickpads, headliner and package shelf were leather.  1948 Customs are very rare - I've only seen 3. I wonder if it's the same one?  Here's a photo of the one we had

The Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo CA just obtained a very nice '48 Kaiser Custom with leather interior.  The docent said that the  car came from a private museum in the North West and I think the price was $15,000.  Not bad! They said that it was Henry Kaiser's personal car but there is no verification of that.  You guys in Southern CA might enjoying seeing it.  The museum also has a restored '49 Frazer Conv. plus many other interesting cars.  They are open weekends.  Our SO CA chapter visited the museum and everyone had a great time.  It is at 610 Lairport St. just south of LAX.  Their phone number is (310) 909 0950

The '48 Custom pictured on the website has original cloth interior. I traced its history back to Fred Walker.

Thanks - that's cool!  The one we had has had 4 owners. It was originally built for a banker in Auburn, Nebraska. We got it on Omaha in 1970 from the original owner's son-in-law.  Sold it to a good friend in Omaha in 1981. He sold it to a fellow in northern IA and as far as I know that person still owns it but I have no contact with him.

Guys, what am I doing wrong?  I clink on the link, then click on the links that come up and I get a Kodak Album message that I'm not permitted to see the photos!

It is not letting me see it either.  It says "album not found."   I did see 5 pictures under "photos,"  the Custon is very beautiful.

I'm still having a problem with the Link on my website. If anyone would like to see the pictures on the link,  just supply your email address and I can send you a direct link to my Kodak gallery.
