DARRIN 145 "hits the streets"

Hi everyone! Happy day!! After more than 1500 hours of labor, I test drove the Darrin at 4pm today! KOOL!!

Weaz, I'll try to get one on Monday. I just noticed, you offer no Darrin T-shirts! Now that the car is "ready", it's been selected for a special exhibit at the 3 day Syracuse Nationals at the New York State Fairgrounds, in mid July!

Good morning! Thanks for the kind words! I've had her to a couple of cruise nights and took a trophy this past Sunday at a 300 car show. The response to this car is phenominal, way more than any of the other 46 cars in the collection! Tomorrow I'll be setting up to display her at a 3 day show, with approximately 7000 cars, so I guess I know what I'm doing for the weekend!

Hi Bill - Thanks for the compliment! Advice is always free, it may not be the best, but the price is right! I am not a Kaiser or a Darrin expert, but, there are many on this forum with a great deal of knowledge of these cars. Feel free to ask all the questions you want to, everyone on this forum knows that I did! Someone will chime in sooner or later with the answers to your questions or advice or whatever. Now, get out in the garage and get to work on that Darrin! Oh, by the way, where in the world are you located?
